On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are delighted to welcome you to the 1st School on Crystal Engineering: Structure, Dynamics, and Reactivity, which will take place in Como, Italy, from 3 to 7 May 2027.
Organized within the framework of the Lake Como School of Advanced Studies (LCSAS), the School is designed for PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career scientists from diverse scientific backgrounds.
Through lectures, tutorials, hands-on activities, and group projects, participants will explore crystal design, molecular dynamics, solid-state reactivity, mechanochemistry, and advanced characterization methods. The School will provide a unique opportunity to learn, exchange ideas, and build collaborations.
The School is open to a maximum of 35 participants. Applications must be submitted through a dedicated online form and should include a short motivation letter and CV. A limited number of fellowships, supported by partner organizations, will be available.
