Welcome to the website of the Division of Physical Chemistry of the Italian Chemical Society
The Division is committed to promoting and disseminating chemical culture, with particular attention to the advancement of knowledge in the field of Physical Chemistry. At present, among the main initiatives overseen by the Division are the "Chemistry Olympiads", a nationally significant event aimed at stimulating young people’s interest in the study of Chemistry.
Furthermore, the Division organizes and supports conferences, symposia, and scientific seminars of a divulgative and educational nature, with the objective of fostering the cultural and professional growth of the scientific community.
The primary goal of the Division is to encourage integration among academia, schools — a fundamental pillar in the education of future generations — and the industrial sector, thereby contributing to the advancement of Chemistry and its applications in support of sustainable and environmentally compatible development of society.
