The Italian Chemical Society (SCI) is proud to announce that the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (RSEQ) has awarded the 2026 González-Ciamician Award to our member Prof. Luigi Cavallo.

This prestigious international accolade recognizes Prof. Cavallo’s outstanding scientific contributions to computational chemistry and catalysis. He is globally renowned for developing innovative molecular models and descriptors for high-performance catalyst design—tools that have become essential in addressing 21st-century energy and environmental challenges.
