The Italian Chemical Society extends its warm congratulations to Professor Antonio Molinaro, Full Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Naples Federico II and Special Appointed Professor at Osaka University, on receiving the ERC Advanced Grant, one of the most prestigious European awards for frontier research.

His awarded project, titled “The LPS-code: uncovering meta level chemical structures that establish LPS as a friend or foe”, aims to decode the complex chemical structures of lipopolysaccharides (LPS), key molecules in modulating immune responses.

This recognition highlights the outstanding quality of Professor Molinaro’s scientific work and reaffirms the international relevance of Italian research in the field of organic chemistry.
