Becoming a Member of the Società Chimica Italiana means joining a community of researchers, professors, teachers, students and professionals united by a common interest in Chemistry. It means being part of a vital and active scientific society that offers congresses, conferences, advanced training schools, workshops and many other activities where Members can share and discuss advances in Chemistry and its many facets.
Our Members have the opportunity to access scholarships, projects and programs for research and teaching and to expand their knowledge and professional skills. Being a Member of the Società Chimica Italiana allows you to become a protagonist in the Divisions, Sections and Groups, contributing to the development of the Society itself and to the promotion of Chemistry.

Joining SCI
is simple and secure

You can pay the membership fee with major credit cards VISA, MASTERCARD or EUROCARD as well as by Bank Transfer or Postal Payment Order, as indicated in the Payments section.

After registration (or renewal), you will receive your personal membership number, which will be active within 24 hours of notification. Please note that public holidays are not included in this timeframe.

Public institutions and Companies can register multiple people together by providing the names of employees or collaborators. Corporate and School Collective Members are entitled to the benefits described in the Additional Information.
